Everyone is using AI to bulk up ideas into wordy memos. On the receiving end, we are using AI to summarize them back into the core ideas.

When AI bulking up is not helpful:

• Padding text, using more words to say the same thing

• Adding interesting background facts that are not needed for the core argument

• Worse: adding incorrect background facts / halucinations

Things get lost in translation…
